[random connections]
-While doing a websearch for an article about the great late bandleader and jazz composer, Charles Mingus, these random facts came up:
[on the genealogy of uma thurman:]
"Uma's mother is Nena Von Schlebrugge, she was a popular Swedish model in the 60's. Salvador Dalí introduced her to the "Father of LSD", Timothy Leary, and in 1964 she married in Millbrook, New York. They spent their honeymoon in Nepal, and on an interesting note, their wedding was made into a 15 minute documentary named You're Nobody Till Somebody Loves You, directed by D. A. Pennebaker with music by Monte Rock III and Charles Mingus."
[...]
"Uma's father is Robert A. F. Thurman, in 1997 he was listed as one of Time's 25 most influential people, he is the Jey Tsong Khapa Professor of Indo-Tibetan Buddhist Studies and head of The Columbia Center for Buddhist Studies at Columbia University. He also serves as president of the Tibet House in New York City, a cultural institution dedicated to the sustainability of the Tibetan civilization. Robert, who is a friend of the Dalai Lama, has traveled to India numerous times to study and practice Tibetan Buddhism, and for a time, served as a Tibetan monk. Robert was personally ordained by the Dalai Lama in 1965, becoming the first Western Tibetan Buddhist monk."

[Hm. It's all connected, apparently. Cue "Pi"-soundtrack and little green men with strange messages...Nah,I've just been up to long again...]
[-Oh,and this was irony, again, just to point it out to those who might still be of the predilection of thinking that text found here will always necessarily advocate my own "opinion" or view of things...]
-But enough of that...damn, i need some coffee...Right now. No sugars.
