...although *sometimes*,i wonder with these things,whether it's really better to just let memories *stay* memories,and not to revisit them- you'll only get disappointed...
things tend to fade a bit with age...or maybe it's just adulthood's "view"/cynicism that makes it impossible to stay in that bubble of innocent joy and enthusiasm and view things with those glasses...
(not that my chilhood was especially happy or anything,but anyway)

-Yeah,i think it must've *definitively* been a english version aswell- we had smth called "children's channel" aswell as Sky channel (before they went all sports or something), and they sent an english version...(aswell as He-Man, Transformers and She-Ra!!;) hehe...Remember vaguely a thread about T.M.C.O.G. on U**** aswell,so it must've been big with you too...!!:)
(trivia:"our" version had the "longer" japanese opening,but with the footage of pyramids/the kids running etc.,that had been mysteriously cut out from the french version...but for some bizarre reason,the theme *song* was more like the french version,although the melody must've been differnt? slighly odd...hmmm....)maybe they took some liberties with the interpretation...
