[when dreams are electric]

-Fear not, fellow dreamers, for the X will soon get back to his/her/its usual frenetic posting fashion...But, currently getting sucked into the frightfully busy anthill chaos-stream which ensues as a new academic year begins, focus will be elsewhere for a while...Well, that doesn't mean dreams won't be electric ever again...The X will soon be back with rabid ramblings, do check back ever so often, dream on in sleep and the electric dream which is the beauty of your waking life, and new things will be posted up shortly!!!...But in the meantime, what does it really matter, when there are far brighter and shinier bloggers doing their thing, posting up posts which brings your mind elsewhere, transcending stale borders and making your excitement fresh again? - I say: -Read, listen, discover, illuminate!!!
-------See you on the other side of the noosphere moebius loop...lots of love.---------------------------------------------------------------------

-Aww,please do go on...i love compliments!!;)
Hehe. Had to post up a small blurb just in case,so you'll know the reason why,IF there'll be some small "gaps" in between posts...(I'll probably still be able to post every other day or so,but then again- quality is better than quantity, and i feel like my brain have started to slow down a bit for the moment, and i'm not feeling any inspiration)...Sometimes there's not much to say,and i don't see why i should post up two lines à la "today my hamster has died, and i went to the shops",that sort of thing, just to write something,if you get me...(And no,i don't have a hamster, just to illustrate the point)
They are pretty harsh on us here, with absolutely silly/sadistic deadlines for handing in essays and stuff...And seeing as i'm taking three different courses all at once,it's going to be a hell of a lot to do in the following months...it's pretty harsh,to be honest...Everything has to be "cost efficient" and "effective" and it seems like all the want to do is to get us out of uni and into jobs as soon as possible..A bit difficult to keep up your motivation when everything is going so fast that even the professors tell us we won't have enough time to read every book on the curriculum...And it would be nice to go through things in a bit more depth...Even worse, commercial interests are controlling more and more,so certain courses have to have "sponsors" from private businesses to survive- language studies like italian for instance, have experienced how students started to complain how all their lectures suddenly were all about helicopters- turned out the faculty had lost so much money they had to get a helicopter business to sponsor them- and then the sponsors started to demand, literally, results for their bucks!...That's fairly ridiculous, but shows how university standards are going down the drain,as a result of greedy politic reforms and a standardisation/commercialisation/privatisation of the public sector...I think a lot of universities in Europe are starting to suffer/see negative results after this neo-con "coup" by reform-friendly politicians...I'm honestly thinking of quitting, i mean- i have already read most of the literature/philosophers on the readinglist, and i don't feel like the lessons are on the level i'd expected to get from an "university"...:(
Lots of things in society is not as they should be, and i'm only getting more and more pessimistic on behalf of our modern times and our societies in general...To be honest, i can't see how we can go on living like this, it's a destructive and negative spiral where evil and greed have taken control, and steer us to the point of collapse...It is not a pretty future for mankind, if we don't start to redefine our role on this earth and change our way of living (and way of interacting with each other), sometimes i just think that men are behind all death and pain and evil in this world, and it is a depressive thought really...That even when we have the choice to do good, people will choose to do evil...And why? Because,it seems, that's human nature...Only a very few will stand above that and be the sort of personalities who *want* to do good...And those are the only ones that can help change the way we're heading...Unfortunately,it seems like the powers that be are now so much stronger that another world will not be possible...But again, i am a natural pessimist and a misanthrope...It's just that i've always been very sad with all the evil in the world, and when you start seeing that clearly-without putting your head in the sand and choose to live securely in your nice little bubble of cosy illusions,- there's no end to the pain thet you're seeing, and that's a pretty heavy weight to bear...In some ways,it's unbearable. And knowing that it is impossible to do anything to make it better, only makes it worse...// - X

good rant for someone who "has not much to say"...laffs!!

"sometimes i just think that men are behind all death and pain and evil in this world,"...i guess now we know you are a female now :)

with all due respect, that is a line that feminist ideologues like to use when they conveniently forget that EVERY single time women have been given the reigns of power, they have wielded them just as abominably as men...the problem isnt WHO wields power, in my opinion...it is that ANYONE wields it at all...that's why i fly the black flag :)

and, yeah, i was thinking that u wld burn yourself out if u kept posting every day...most bloggers dont...it gets to be a bit of a chore, and most people dont have something to say every single day or so...unless youre a professional at having things to say (academics and such)...most regular folks post once in a while...and that's all good...i wont tell u how much i like your blog anymore because i dont want to swell your ego too much, but ive scored a lot of valuable resources here and enjoyed every post so far

-See?..If it's *that* easy to,just by a linguistic mistake, spawn misunderstanding, confusion and(almost-to-be)big arguments,no wonder people are waging wars against each other and arguing on an even bigger scale about even more stupid stuff!...You really *did think* i intended to go all Valerie Solanas on you, didn't you?...Oh,the humanity!;) Glad to have cleared up our little,um,"misunderstanding",then...Peace!!;)
Hehehehehehehehe...//Muchos thankyous and cranberry juice,-X
